Health and Wellness Related Services Tailored to Your Needs

Health and Wellness

An informed and sustained approach to implementing a personal health and wellness program is a major factor in keeping employees healthy, eliminating workplace downtime and sustaining productivity. Through a collaboration with Occupational Health Care Associates, our dedicated health coaches and our trusted network of resources, you will be given the best health and wellness related advice based on available and reliable studies and data.

Flu Vaccination Clinics

CDC.gov has cited a flu shot related study that shows adults receiving a flu vaccination created a 71% reduction in flu-related hospitalizations. This is important because less-severe symptoms mean that the infection rate is diminished and there is less lost time due to the flu. We are trained and licensed to provide flu shots on-site.

Wellness Education

Occupational Health Care Associates will collaborate with you to help choose pertinent information to share with your staff based on wellness related topics including:

  • Nutritional Counseling
  • Weight Loss Techniques
  • Health Risk Assessments (BMI, blood pressure, cholesterol)
  • Other pertinent topics based on employee well-being

First Aid/CPR/1st Responder (Any Size Group)

Our professional staff will come to your worksite and present your employees with CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid Health education. We will tailor our on-site seminars to fit your workplace.

Blood Pressure Clinics

Periodic blood pressure screening is important in assessing health risk for employees. Understanding what is a healthy blood pressure reading is important to help employees make lifestyle choices to maintain their acceptable levels and work with an occupational nurse to correct unacceptable levels.

Blood pressure screening and risk assessment is provided on the job site by our trained staff.

Brown Bag Lunch In Services

Our brown bag lunch services are based on a “lunch and learn” model about specific wellness topics.

You pay for a box lunch and we’ll educate your employees about a specific “topic of the month” that will help them grow in knowledge about pertinent health related topics. We also will help to create and implement a Wellness Calendar to help keep employees aware of how their lifestyle affects their well-being.
